God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in the Spirit and in truth. John 4:24
Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:25-26
Sometimes we look down on the most important things, and we do not take note of what God so much cherish. Praise and worship are two powerful weapons God has given to us. Through the power of praise and worship victory has been won, miracles performed, and wonders has been done.
Praise and worship are spiritual exercise that can refresh our spirit and gladden our soul. Worship is so important because it's fundamental to God's presence
It's what transports us to a close relationship with the Father. In other words, worship is a two-way communication. We come into His presence through praise and worship, He then makes Himself known to us by communicating His Love and His inspiration (and revelation) back to us. This, of course, results in overwhelming joy for us.
God has given to us so many spiritual gifts and talents to do exploit for Him, but the truth is that none of these gifts will ever go with us beyond the grave. Beside the gift of eternal life the only gift that will cross over with us to the other side (into the eternal kingdom of God) is the gift of praise and worship.
No matter how anointed we are, our anointing will be useful only when we are on earth; no matter how gifted you are your gift will not be needed in heaven. You can only be a prophet on earth, for heaven is not directed or guided with prophesies. The service of bible study teacher is strictly restricted to this world, because there’s no need for bible study in paradise. Fasting and prayer are two powerful spiritual exercise but they will completely be forgotten as soon as you leave this world.
The only thing we will do forever in heaven is praise, worship, praise worship, praise, and worship. Nothing more! We will forever give praise to the King of kings who lives for ever. The kinds of people that will enjoy staying with God in heaven are those who have enjoyed offering quality praise to God while they live in the body.
